California State Summer Games July 15 - 17 California State Games create an Olympic style competition for amateur athletes of all age ranges and abilities to challenge themselves and excel their individual past performances. San Diego Museum of Art presents Maxfield Parrish July 16 - September 11 The works of one of the best known and beloved American artists of the 20th century, Maxfield Parrish - The Master of Make Believe, will be on exhibit at the San Diego Museum of Art. Festival of Sail August 17 - 21 Over a dozen tall ships from around the world will highlight the five day event featuring food, arts and crafts, music and lots of nautical fun for the whole family.
